Bike Month

NYC DOT celebrates cycling each spring and fall by hosting events for Bike Month (May) and Biketober (October).

We also publish self-guided rides to showcase our city's growing bike network, community amenities, and featured destinations. Whether you're going on a self-guided ride, riding through a park, or planning your commute on two wheels, brush up on safe cycling tips and look for the NYC Bike Map. Visit nyc.gov/bikemap.
